Basic and Advanced Core Training

Basic Core training is designed to strengthen the back for everyday activities.  For more strenuous
activities especially for the demands of most sports, Advanced Core Training helps to promote
enhanced spinal health to meet these additional challenges.  The Ortho-Gym is unique because it allows
one to exercise the back muscles in a non-torque fashion (see non torso torsion techniques in
Exercise
and Sport Science Reviews
Vol. 29. No. 1 Jan 2001, pp. 30,31).

The key to strengthening the body's core is to promote spinal (musculature) stability together with
enhancing the strength of torso muscles.  The Ortho-Gym achieves this key objective through it Basic,
and Advanced core exercises.  Adding arm and leg exercises to the core training provides for
Integrative exercise routines.  Integrative Core Exercising along with strengthening and balance
activities promote a stronger, balanced body, and overall better health.
